Hello everyone,


Jess Kwasny Fitness was created out of the immense passion I have for health and fitness and to help you achieve your goals. Now I’m sure you’re wondering a bit about me….so here we go! As a young kid growing up in a small town there wasn’t a whole lot for us to do that didn’t involve being active. If you can name it I have probably played it. From hockey, volleyball, basketball, soccer to Ukrainian Dancing, I did it all! Being active has always been a huge part of my life and continues to be. In the winter months, you can find me playing hockey and snowboarding. In the summer you will find me playing  baseball, golfing, or catching some waves behind our boat.

When I am not working you can find me in the gym 5 days a week…because you know everyone needs their rest days too! I am a bit of a gym rat and absolutely love pushing my body to the next level with my training. In 2016, I competed in my first body building competition in the bikini division. I placed 7th at my first provincial show in 2017. 

2018 has been off to an amazing start for me and competing! In March I competed in the first ABBA tested show, where I won my Bikini D class AND the Elite Physique Model Search. May saw me jetting off to Montreal to compete in my first National and International shows. It was an amazing weekend and I had so much fun representing Team Alberta. I won my class in Bikini D on Saturday May 19th, securing myself a spot on Team Canada to compete at Worlds, this October in Poland. Sunday, May 20th was my first International show and I was able to place 5th, top 5 in the world....I'll take it! Now I am hoping to bring home the hardware for Team Canada from Poland! Stay tuned to my instagram page to see up to date information on my training and the show! 

I also have a life long passion for learning and the fitness industry has always been something I have had a huge interest in. In 2014, I completed my Certified Fitness Trainer course through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). From there, I completed my certification as a Specialist in Fitness Nutrition through ISSA and also have my Level 1 nutrition course through Precision Nutrition. I now love to put all my knowledge to work to help coach incredible people, like yourselves, to reach your goals. All my programs are 100% customized to your individual needs and are not a cookie cutter “one size fits all”, plan. You are a unique individual and I ensure that I supply you with a plan that is unique to you. I look forward to sharing my love and passion for this industry with you and helping you to meet your goals!

LACEY ISKRA

Hey Guys, My name Is Lacey Iskra and I am an online fitness and health coach. I am a part of the team at Maximum YEG and happy to be considered one of the trusted trainers.

I grew up in a super small town (like 2000 people small) on the north end of Vancouver island, but have been in Alberta for over 4 years now. I grew up participating in every sport, horseback riding, hockey, soccer, competitive gymnastics, volleyball, dance (Jazz, hip-hop, highland, tap) and did it all from a young kid to when I graduated High School.

I decided to take my bachelors of arts degree in Sport, Health and Physical Education at Vancouver Island university, which is where my fitness journey in the gym began. I went from playing every

sport to literally doing nothing except studying, eating and drinking (OOPS) which is why I quickly gained 30 pounds in a very short amount of time. I got my act together and joined my first gym in 2009. 

From my competitive background I quickly became obsessed with it, lost over 30 pounds and fell in love with the thought of training to get stronger. I completed my degree in 2014 and moved to Lloydminster Alberta. I was a kinesiologist for a company and made sure people were fit to work in the oil industry. I continued my education and took an online personal training course while preparing for my first body building competition. I quickly fell in love with the sport and in my first year placed third in Alberta and seventh in Canada. The following year I competed at both a national and international level. 

I decided to then move to Edmonton to submerge myself in more of a fitness environment. I then took another personal training course through CANFIT PRO of Canada which I completed in 2017. 

I worked for a short time as a personal trainer in a corporate gym but didn’t love the certain guidelines I had to follow with my clients, which eventually led me to start my own online personal training services. 

I started my team Iskra Elite, in hopes to help as many women as possible reach their dream physique and give them the tools they need in order to maintain it. On paper I have the requirements to be a good coach, but my own fitness journey involving every type of training and diet imaginable is what allows me to be able to relate and motivate you no matter where you are in your journey.  

I can easily say that I have found my passion in life and I am so happy I get to share it with you.

KIRSTIN LACEY

DNA Coach - Registered Nurse - Nutrionist - Lifestyle & Wellness Coach

My name is Kirstin (Cameron) Breau. I am a 25 year old, small town girl raised in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Growing up I was involved in many different sports; however, I can’t say I was ever passionate about any one in particular. I've always taken a particular interest in health and its determinants which is why I chose to attend post-secondary schooling to advance my knowledge in this area. I earned my degree and graduated with honors in the Bachelor of Science in nursing program in June 2014. I quickly became very passionate about my newfound profession. The hospital was my outlet for teaching people the raw information about what a healthy balanced lifestyle looks like. I found myself wanting to teach, inspire, and motivate people to be healthy, fit, and confident. The best version of themselves they could be. I wanted to lead by example and prove you can achieve anything you put your mind to!

In 2014, I hired a reputable coach to train me for my first bikini competition. I ended up placing 2nd in the Muscle Beach Fall Classic, advancing to the next tier. I didn't stop there. Following this, I placed 4th at the ABBA Provincial show 2015, and just 6 weeks later, I took home a 5th place award at the CBBF National Bikini & Physique show. It wasn’t easy as I worked full time 12 hour, long and demanding, day and night shifts during each competition preparation. But I was determined, persistent and it was worth it.

After my competitions, I felt a sensation of empowerment, success, personal achievement, and true passion. I felt more confident in myself and I wanted to inspire and motivate others to help achieve their goals. As more and more friends and strangers came to me asking for fitness and nutrition advice I was humbled that people actually wanted my help. I started out by educating myself in nutrition and enrolling in a Nutrition Coaching program with my husband. From there we continued to educate and grow together taking on more clients each month. It is so rewarding to have such a direct role in helping others achieve their goals and to support people, every step of the way as they bettered their lifestyle.

CODY PRINGLE

Lifestyle Coach - Personal Trainer - Performance Specialist

My name is Cody Leigh Pringle and I am a health & fitness coach. I was born in Orillia, Ontario and raised predominantly in Haliburton, ON. Haliburton is a small town known for its lakes and cottaging. Living and growing up here there really isn't much to do, so I fell into a large number of sports, including; basketball, snowboarding, wrestling, cross-country skiing, and my personal fav track & field. Outside of these school sports I was also an avid horseback rider.

My love for horses led me to the University of Guelph where I took a Bachelor's degree in Equine Management. During my time in school, I rode as much as possible, worked at a number of farms, participated in boot camps at school and began dabbling in weightlifting. At this time, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but I know I enjoyed it!

After graduating from University, I moved to Alberta and jumped head first into the bodybuilding community. Competing in 6 Bikini shows, placing nationally and learning a ton! During this time, I got myself certified as an ISSA Personal Trainer, Precision Nutrition coach and most recently NASM Performance Specialist Certification.

My goal is to help as many people as possible with their fitness journeys to be fit in a sustainable way, without restriction and live aligned with their passions.

JORDAN TAYLOR

Athletic Performance & Personal Trainer

B.Kin – Masters in Coaching and Exercise Science – NCCP Level 2

Jordan is the owner of Goliath: High Performance Training, which offers a variety of services from 1-1 training, team training, seminars, workshops, yoga classes, and more. Goliath prides itself on following the LTAD model for long-term athlete development and sport specific training. Their method is maximize the bodies ability to do what it was designed to do. They accomplish this by developing proper kinetic movement patterns, and maintaining them. GHPT provides a structured training regiment by building and challenging an athlete’s individual foundation via basic functional human movement.

Jordan also is a full-time volleyball coach, working with several teams, athletes, camps, clinics and organizations. He is currently an Assistant Coach for NAIT OOKS MVB, head coach and club coordinator for FOG Volleyball Club, and has been associated with Volleyball Alberta as a Provincial Team Coach since 2014, as well as head coaching in the Alberta Winter Games in 2015. During his coaching career Jordan and his teams have accumulated several achievements such as a back to back Provincial Championship Gold in 2015 and 2016, Provincial Championship Silver in 2017 and 2018, ACAC Conference Championship Bronze in 2015, Silver at National Team Challenge Cup (NTCC) in 2014, 2015 and Bronze in 2016, as well as an appearance at the USA High Performance Championships in Ft. Lauderdale Florida in 2017. Jordan is also currently working on his Masters in Coaching and Exercise Science degree at the University of Victoria.

Prior to coaching, Jordan played Volleyball at the Collegiate level in the ACAC for the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus Vikings from 2009-2011, and the Kings University Eagles in 2011-2012. After playing, Jordan returned to University of Alberta to complete his Bachelors of Kinesiology Degree in 2014.

ANDREW COATES

Since the fall of 2009 I have worked as a personal trainer, rarely even taking days off. I’ve accumulated over 10,000 client sessions and spend downtime relentlessly pursuing continued education in exercise physiology, nutrition, the psychology of human behavior and habits, and anything else I feel furthers the experience and results of my clients.
I found my niche with the every day person who wants to be leaner, stronger, and healthier. I have always found greatest satisfaction in helping a person feel comfortable in a gym environment and providing the skills to have a lifetime of good nutritional habits and higher levels of physical activity.
A core personal goal of mine is to actively try to train myself out of work by teaching and developing independent clients. For those who choose to work with me long term, I hope to provide endless value and progression in the overall experience. There is no magic formula to the success my clients see other than simply teaching the basics, developing comfort and consistency, and complimenting that with a strong knowledge of the science and psychology of nutrition.
Many trainers enjoy a more niched approach with athletes or fitness competitors but my real love and focus is to work with the general population to make them extraordinary, in whatever form extraordinary takes for that individual.
My clients embrace the fundamentals of resistance training, cardiovascular training, and developing a healthy balance of activity to enrich their lives while providing nutritional information to fulfill every aspect of health and wellness to ensure they are seeing the most out of training. No fads, gimmicks, or guru nonsense.
